Digital X-Ray
We use Digital x-rays rather than traditional x-rays. Digital x-rays allow instantaneous diagnosis and review and expose patients to 90% less radiation. By using digital x-rays we are also saving the environment by reducing chemical and material waste.
Panoramic X-Rays
Panoramic x-rays offer patients a complete detailed image of the entire mouth including the teeth, jaw (upper and lower), sinuses, and TMJ. It provides a complete picture of how everything looks and relates to each other.
Micro Ultrasonic Scaling
We provide our patients with the luxury of Ultrasonic Scaling. It is more comfortable for patients and allows for the scaling process to be completed faster than having to ‘scrape’ tooth surfaces like the conventional scaling process.
VELscope Oral Cancer Screening
Panoramic x-rays offer patients a complete detailed image of the entire mouth including the teeth, jaw (upper and lower), sinuses, and TMJ. It provides a complete picture of how everything looks and relates to each other.
Intra Oral Camera
An Intra Oral camera is a very small specialized camera that allows you to see what the dentist sees! It allows our practice to view clear, precise images of your mouth, teeth and gums, in order for us to accurately make a diagnosis. With clear, defined, enlarged images, you see details that may be missed by standard mirror examinations. This can mean faster
diagnosis with less chair-time for you!
Intra Oral cameras also enable our practice to save your images in our office computer to provide a permanent record of treatments. These images and treatments can be printed for you, for other specialists, and your lab or insurance companies.
